1. What this site is

Malta Company Search is an independent search tool that republishes a limited extract of publicly available Malta Business Registry (MBR) company data. We are not the Malta Business Registry, a government body, or a credit reference agency.

2. Data we process

We process two categories of data:

• Company data — name, registration number, company type, status, registration date, and registered address, as filed on the public register.
• Limited personal data of company officers — directors' and company secretaries' names and roles, as disclosed in the public register. We deliberately do not publish officers' residential addresses, postcodes, or nationality, even where our source data contains them, in line with data-minimization principles.

3. Legal basis for processing

We process this public-register data on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) UK/EU GDPR): making publicly filed company information easier to find and read, in a way that is proportionate and minimizes personal data beyond what the public register itself already discloses.

4. Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any analytics we may add in future will be privacy-respecting and disclosed here before deployment.

5. Your rights

If you are a company officer listed on this site and want your entry corrected or removed, contact us and we will review the request promptly. Because the underlying record remains on the official Malta Business Registry regardless of any change here, we recommend also contacting the MBR directly for corrections to the source record.
